Giving Thanks!

As I look back over the last year there is so much to be thankful for here at the Hastings Family YMCA. We have been serving the community of Hastings for over 138 years. Today we are stronger than ever and we are blessed to be able to help so many.

COMMUNITY

We want to thank our community for being so supportive of the YMCA. We are blessed to be in Hastings, Nebraska because it is a truly wonderful place to live and work. There is so much going on to support families, youth, and seniors, and we are excited that we get to be a part of it. Thank you for your continued support of the YMCA.

MEMBERS

We are thankful for our members and program participants. Without you, we would not have the success that we do. Over ⅓ of our community participates in the YMCA in some sort of capacity. This means thousands of people are committed to improving themselves and our community through programs that build spirit, mind, and body. This ultimately leads to a better community.

SUPPORTORS

We are extremely thankful to our annual donors. Every year, hundreds of people and businesses donate their hard earned money to support our annual campaign. Without you, none of this would be possible. Each year you give over $200,000 so that we can provide financial assistance so that the YMCA can be for all. Everyone needs to be a part of the YMCA.

VOLUNTEERS

We are thankful for our volunteers. Our volunteers unselfishly give their time, talent and treasure to ensure the YMCA continues to operate efficiently and effectively for our community. Without you, the YMCA would not be possible.

STAFF

We are also very thankful for our staff. The staff are the reason we are able to be so successful. They change lives every day by their hard work and dedication. Each time I get to interact with new staff I explain to them how lucky they are to work at an amazing organization like the YMCA. They truly believe that and you can see it in their love and passion for improving our community.

I know this doesn’t capture it all, because there is so much to be thankful for. Thank you all for your support. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for our community and our YMCA.
