We offer 3 different Silver Sneaker Classes:
Muscular Strength & Range of Motion- is a multi-level, equipment based, total body conditioning utilizing a chair, elastic tubing with handles, hand-held weights, and an inflatable ball. Classes are Mondays & Wednesday from 9 - 10am located at the 16th Street Y.
Cardio Circuit- combine fun with fitness to increase yourcardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers inflatable ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises. Classes are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9 -10am located at the 16th Street Y.
Yoga Stretch- move your whole body through a complete series of seated and seated and standing yoga positions. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, & range of movement. Classes are Wednesday 8:15 - 9am at the 16th Street Y.
