Lose 2 Win Jan. 11, 2015

This weight loss program is designed to help you lose weight and give you the tools and resources to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  You will meet with your Fitness coach on a weekly basis.  During your visit, you will weigh-in and discuss your progress and set "SMART" goals.  Additional activities are available throughout the program (see below).  Participation in these additional activities are strongly encouraged to help inspire your progress through out your weight loss journey.

January 11               5pm               Informational Kickoff Presentation
16th Street YMCA Gymnasium (this get together is VERY important to attend.  You will learn the various details of the program, set your weekly appointment time with your fitness coach, weigh-in, and complete a initial Fit Test and recieve your weightloss journal.  Please wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes for the Fit Test)

January 19               5:30pm               Truth about Sugar & Salt
Join Shannon Frink, Registered Dietician with Mary Lanning as she talks about hidden sugars and salts found in our foods and ways we can reduce the intake.  Conversation will take place 16th Street YMCA, KBAM room.

January 25               2pm             Shop for Health
meet at Russ's IGA to take a stroll through the isles to learn how to shop for a healthier you.  

January 26-30                                First Week of Weigh ins
Come to your scheduled weigh-in time (weigh-in room located across 18th Street front desk) 

February 15               5pm               FIT test Re-Challenge 

16th Street YMCA gymnasium, See how much you have progressed since kickofff of the  program.  Re-test on the Fit Test.  

March 22                    5pm                FIT test Re-Challenge 
16th Street YMCA gymnasium, See how much you have progressed since kickofff of the program.  Re-test on the Fit Test.   

March 24-28                                      Last Weigh in of Program

March 27                   11am-1pm       Last chance Weigh In
Optional weigh-in opportunity.  Come anytime between 11-1pm for final weight (walk ins only)

March 29                    6pm                 Finale Banquet
16th Street YMCA multipurpose room, Welcome your friends and family to attend and celebrate our journey.  Awards and prize recipients will be announced.

 

Registration Fee:

YMCA Member: $100 

Non-Member: $200 (YMCA membership included during the program)

PRIZES:

1st place - 1 year family membership to the Hastings Family YMCA

2nd place - 6 month family membership to the Hastings Family YMCA

3rd place - 3 month family membership to the Hastings Family YMCA

Awards are based off the total percentage of weight loss.
