Dora was born in the country of Cyprus, of Greek heritage. She met and married Rod Goodin in Greece in 1985. They have been married for 26 years. They moved to the United States and Hastings in 1996. They have 4 boys. Stephen is a senior at UNK, Philip is a student at CCC, Mark is a junior at Hastings High and Peter is a 7th grader at Hastings Middle School. Dora has her degree in Education and is a full time Pampered Chef Consultant. She has been an instructor at the YMCA since 2003.
In addition to supporting and cheering for her sons in football, basketball, soccer, track and baseball, she also enjoys cooking, exercising, gardening, knitting, cross stitching and reading.

I am a Hastings resident, married to Mark Jones for 20 years and have two children: one in college and the one in high school. I provide care for people in their homes and teach Zumba dance classes at the YMCA. I love kids and enjoy teaching Zumbatomic classes just for them. I also teach Aqua Zumba and Zumba Gold. Zumba has become part of my life, and I love sharing my passion for dancing with others! I feel more healthy in my 40's than I ever have.
Exercise is truly the "Fountain of Youth," so come join me for the fun!

My husband Kevin and I just recently relocated to Hastings from Springfield, Mo. He is a Road Foreman for BNSF railroad and I am a stay-at-home mom. We have a beautiful 3 1/2 year old little boy, Tavin who is the joy of our life. God has blessed us so much with a wonderful family and friends. We feel our relocation to Hastings is all part of his plan. I am very excited to begin teaching body attack and know it is going to be a great program to add to the Y. Fitness and helping others reach their goals is my passion!!!

Nick was born and raised here in Hastings and graduated from Hastings High. He attended UNL for construction management and currently works full-time at Carmichael Construction. Nick lives here with his wife, Kim, and children Ella & Noah. He enjoys spending time with his family. His children are active in sports, in which Nick helps coach, and they enjoy boating, hunting, Husker baseball & football games and spending time with friends and family.
Nick became a member of the Y in 2009, which is when he started taking his fitness routine seriously. "I think its important to stay healthy & active, as well as enjoying my work out & having a good time, which is why this summer (2011) I began instructing Les Mills Body Pump."

Lorna moved to Hastings last summer and started taking FIT classes in September. She loved the class so much and was excited to start training as a SUB for the class in February. This summer, she got the chance to teach her own FIT class on Thursday mornings at 9am. This fall, she will teach FIT on Fridays at 9am. Lorna and her family moved to Hastings for her husband, Mark, to teach at Hastings College. Lorna grew up in New York but after college, they had the opportunity to move around the country, living in DC, Boston, San Diego, San Francisco and South Carolina. The Zajacks really enjoyed their first year in Hastings and look forward to many more years here.

"I was born in Oklahoma and raised in Hastings, NE. With over three years of experience as a personal trainer. I believe, I embody and exemplify fitness. I’m a Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA (International Sports Science Association). I believe, when a person is healthy, it motivates us all in more areas of our lives than we can imagine. I definitely enjoy working with any type of individual whether it's sports conditioning, strength training and individuals that need a motivational workout regimen! "My first experience with physical fitness training with a purpose was in 1985 when I began cycling. I trained on road bikes and mountain bikes in Austin, Texas. While I have personally trained for many different goals using different programs such as, strength training, martial arts, cardio, and circuits, I currently train with a mixture of cardio and strength training, such as circuits or “crossfit” style work outs.
I owned/operated a gym in 2006-2007 where I provided personal training for clients that ranged from High School athletes preparing for sports to adults trying to achieve better physical conditioning. I am a graduate of the Cooper Institute’s Law Enforcement Fitness Specialist program and currently lead, and coordinate the physical fitness program for a police academy. "
