YMCA Water by Marilyn Brown

My name is Marilyn Brown and I have been back to the YMCA for one year.  I started with the aquacize class and then added lap swimming (two laps added per week) until I worked my way up to 18 laps (1/2 mile).  The aquacize class had several benefits; I am stronger, more limber and have more stamina.  I have lost weight and gained muscle tone.  My chiropractor is very happy to see my back pops back in much more easily.  I also have fewer problems with my arthritis.  

One last benefit is being around a great group who are also trying to improve their health.  Everyone is friendly and very encouraging.  We spur each other along and have fun at the same time.
